Karan Bakshi

Chairman Group Vision

Karan Bakshi is an entrepreneur and currently serves as Maxerience CEO and Vision Group Chairman. He has 20 years of experience as a CEO, CTO and COO of fast growing and innovative technology startups. Karan has built Maxerience on three pillars: People, Process and Technology. His main focus on balancing and strengthening all three. Karan is focused on shaping the values and vision of his companies with emphasis on customer success and company values. Under Karan’s leadership, Maxerience has shown triple digit growth year after year, attaining industry recognition as the world’s fastest growing retail image recognition & IOT startup. Outside of his work, Karan and his wife love exploring countries and cultures with a rich history.

Austin Groves

CEO Vision IoT

Mr. Groves serves as the CEO of Vision IoT, driving our mission to be the most customer centric IoT platform. Groves also founded Gao Shan Enterprises, a conglomerate that invests in and operates disruptive technology companies in emerging markets. In 2020 Groves also wrote and published the book “The Race for 5G Supremacy: Why China is Winning, Where Millennials Struggle & How America Can Prevail”. Previously, Austin served as the Director of Revenue for Acorn International (NYSE: ATV), a publicly traded ecommerce marketing company based in Shanghai in addition to IoT executive roles at Verizon and Accenture. Fluent in both Spanish and Chinese, Groves has led cross-cultural teams that have sold and implemented enterprise-level high-tech solutions in over 40 countries across six continents.

Ricardo Silva

CEO InstaGnG

With more than 23 years of experience in the Telecom, Media & IT sectors, Ricardo has established a track record of deals. He also has experience in senior positions in marketing, sales, program/project/contract management and structured financing areas, engaging with carriers and enterprises in several IOT and Telecom infrastructure and digital transformation projects across Asia Pacific, India, Latin America, US/Canada and Middle East/Africa.

Jason Derienzo


Jason is an industry veteran with more than 35 years of industry experience with focus on sales, marketing and business development. He has acquired many large CPG companies as clients such as Kroger, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Coke, Diageo, Bimbo Bakeries, Edgewell, Osram Sylvania, Anheuser- Busch, Pernod-Ricard, and many other leading Consumer Goods companies.

Emil Ralev

SVP - CFO Vision Group

Emil serves as CFO and is responsible for all financial and compliance aspects, as well as the commercial strategy at Maxerience. Prior to joining us, he gained 20+ years of sales and marketing experience at FMCG companies like P&G and Monster Energy. Emil is passionate about developing win-win relations with clients, vendors, partners and associates alike.

Alan Kennedy

SVP - Image Recognition

Alan is responsible for our computer vision solutions and is focused on delivering value driving solutions for our customers. Furthermore, he has obtained a BA in Management and Information Systems. Alan brings 20 years of FMCG experience from The Coca-Cola System, leading key strategic initiatives for front line sales, enhancing business efficiency and innovative evolution, including the early evaluation and implementations of computer vision solutions. He works closely with our customers to understand their business needs to deliver optimal solutions that drive value to their business.

Brian Mackin


For almost three decades, Brian has managed various projects ranging from product assortment implementation to integration of technology-based planogram strategies. His achievements also include developing innovative strategies for beauty, hardware, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and e-commerce companies such as L’Oréal, Home Depot, Coca-Cola, and Lowes.

Rishabh Arora

COO Vision IoT

Rishabh has 14 years of experience with industry-leading, future-oriented, and rapidly growing startups. His experience scaling startups into multibillion-dollar businesses in e-Commerce and Telecom space translates to a well-rounded and motivated attitude. Heading our global IOT practice, Rishabh is responsible for ensuring that we continue to remain an industry leader focused on innovation and world-class products. Outside of the office, he likes meeting people from the startup community, reading books, and playing badminton.

Ramesh Pendyala

CTO Vision Group

Ramesh is a Technology savvy leader with 23 years of experience in strategic planning, implementation and project/people management of large scale IT products & programs. He has expertise in building scalable systems in cloud native  environments.

Ramesh has built high performing teams from ground up in start up companies. He has lead people and technology transformation charters. Prior to joining Maxerience Ramesh has held leadership/management positions at 6thStreet, Saltside, Goldman Sachs and Fannie Mae. He holds master’s degree in engineering from IIT Bombay. Outside work he loves to travel and enjoys the natural beauty of the mother earth.

Oscar Kaufmann

CMO Vision Group

Oscar has over 30 years of experience in corporate and institutional communications. Recently, he worked as Head of Communications for the Mexico City Government and the Mayor’s office. Prior to this, he was CEO of Hill + Knowlton Strategies, Nokia Siemens Networks’ Head of Corporate Affairs & Communications for Latin America as well as Country Manager for Mexico. He also has 15 years of consulting experience in his own firm and worked as Corporate Director of Communications, Image and Institutional Affairs of Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer. Kaufmann studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas and achieved a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Ceneval México.
